Dear Mr. Van Dellen:
This letter is to inform you that I am withdrawing my services as Adjutant Mattress Inspector, effective immediately. Things just haven't been the same since our old boss left, and I feel the current direction of Mattress Police lies in distinct contrast to my skills, abilities, and interests. It pains me to say this, with so much of my recent time and effort put into inspecting mattresses, but I feel I can no longer give my best effort to this venture.
