On another note, Lonie Polony recently mentioned that my blog seems to take a long time to load. Has anyone else noticed this? If it's a problem, I may need to remove some of the widgets. Let me know.

whoa. first to cast my vote... last (apparently) in Mrs. Diesel's heart. boohoo, poor me.
that said, these are some GREAT captions! not as funny, perhaps, as every single one of mine (as determined by the "voters" inside my fragile little mind) but fan-funny-tastic, nonetheless! : )
It takes a long time for it to load for me too, not minutes but more than the nanoseconds everyone elses loads in.
Crazy aunt bea: you should have been on the list of contenders with your "enhanced" caption -that one just had me rolling on the floor. I, for one, liked my dominatrix caption better than the one that got picked, but hey, as they say, "Never look a gift horse in the mouth".
Diesel: I don't think your blog loads any slower than most blogs, and my connection is not especially fast to begin with.

I've never encountered any problems getting loaded when you're around.
It takes 10-15 seconds to load. In that amount of time, my boss could walk by at least three times! I mean...
Yes. I'm having trouble getting loaded. Jami keeps taking all my stuff.
LOL at Jami's comment ... I have no opinion on site loading, as I'm on dial-up and therefore it takes 2-3 days for any site to load.

I've noticed it does take awhile to load - but not every day.

I've noticed that your blog takes a long time to load, but I just assumed it was because the tiny gnome who lives in my modem is getting old, or hungry.

I have cable so it doesn't take much time to load. I do notice a lag that is a little longer than most sites. This may be a problem for dial-up users.
Hint: Don't use Click Comments if you want a fast page!
I think your page loads okay, and you should really keep your hands off your widgets anyway.
The tope section loads quickly. I have to wait about 20-30 seconds for the rest of it.

takes longer than all the other blogs I go to to load, but its only about 10 to 15 seconds its not long to wait.

Blogger has had several downtimes over the past two weeks, but I've not noticed anything either.
Thanks, everybody. I think the problem is mainly with blogrolling.com. It seems to be taking a really long time to generate my blogrolls. I've moved them over to the right so the main content loads first.
